THURSDAY (13): Map Project

Review:
Today, we will begin by reviewing the map essentials (DOGSTAILSS). Make sure you understand what this acronym represents, along with the purpose of each map essential. In addition, we will discuss the seven continents and five oceans. Yes, you read that right, there are five oceans--click here to learn the reason for the addition of the Southern Ocean.

World Map Project:
Today is your set up day. Make sure you put yourself in position to finish your map during class tomorrow. If you do not finish tomorrow you will have to take it home and finish it over the weekend. It is officially due on Monday, but I plan on many of you handing it in on Friday.
